Parenting In A Digital Age Isn’t Easy!

And everyone isn’t who they “post” to be. Over the course of 5 weeks, your student and I will meet one-on-one for an hour each week to focus on age-appropriate guidance and practical strategies for navigating the online world. Here’s what you and your child can expect from the program:

  • Social Readiness: We’ll assess their readiness for social media and guide them in defining their “why” for using these platforms.
  • Digital Risks & Responsibilities: Students will learn the realities of the digital world, including safety tips and the real-world consequences of online behavior.
  • Email Etiquette: Together, we’ll explore best practices for writing clear, respectful, and professional emails, helping your child build foundational communication skills for school, work, and beyond.
  • Practical Posting Skills: Together, we’ll explore how to post safely and practice applying these skills in real-life scenarios.
  • Real-World Lessons: Lessons will be connected to age-appropriate examples, bridging the gap between fun and responsible use of technology.
  • Q&A Support: Dedicated time for their specific questions about social media, apps, and digital culture.

On the final day, we’ll recap everything they’ve learned, celebrate their growth, and award them with a certificate for their participation—acknowledging the courage it takes to embrace change and personal development.
